Wow! Our film Glorious Stockholm keeps on winning. Last awards received is from the Film Festival in Warsaw, Polen, New York Festival and three more awards from Telly Awards in USA. Up to date the film have received 8 awards, 1 nomination and 1 “Jury’s Award”. 

Glorious Stockholm is produced by Big5 Film and TV Productions for Stockholm Visitors Board and Visit Sweden.

Here are some of the latest festivals and a couple of Swedish articles…

The life of Henry Diltz, the rock photographer, is truly a fascinating and absolutely outstanding story. Next week we will head back to Stockholm with over 30 interviews and  a lot of fantastic footage in the baggage. The story has evolved over time and the working title right now is: The Last Great Hippie – Rock Photographer Henry Diltz.

And what a life this young 75 year old man has had. 

The photos down below are Henry taking pictures with his old Nikon, Henry talking to the camera while driving his car, signing famous and iconic photos, one of the most famous album covers, Henry working with his slides from the 60´s, close-up of some of his photos, Ventura Blvd., the street  where you will most likely bump in to Hollywood movie stars and finally a picture over the pool at the hotel in Santa Monica where we stayed for almost one month during the production of this documentary.

Hi there, This is me practicing street photography in-between film production in New York last week. I could do this day out and day in. You know, to challenge the people you meet. They say that Manhattan is where the pulse is, well the challenge is to have the people slow down a little, stop and smell the roses and smile. Enjoy.

“Glorious Stockholm”, the marketing film, has received “The Jury Award” in Bulgaria and second prize in Riga, Latvia.

Up to date we have received an award in Berlin and first prize in Hamburg. We also received a second prize in the People´s Telly Awards (the YouTube public community are the voters) originated from New York, second prize in Riga, Latvia and now also “The Jury Award” in Bulgaria.

Some of the city festivals “Glorious Stockholm” has entered into: New York, Los Angeles, Berlin, Hamburg, Prague, Barcelos/Portugal, Vienna, Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic,  Brazil, Cannes, Valico Gradiste, Serbia, Veliko Novogrod, Russia, Zagreb, Croatia, Warsaw, New York (2), Riga.

Producing a film like “Glorious Stockholm” takes a year of working the streets of Stockholm. Communicating with hundreds of people and ending up with hours and hours of filmed materials. Then month in post production, scoring of music, creative animations and color grading of each and every scene. The reward for all this fine work is of course the recognition from the audience and the jury of film festivals. And wow! What a treat for all of us that worked on this glorious film.

We have now received six awards world wide and hopefully there will be more recognitions to come.
